Thanksgiving, Black Friday and the release of the “Black Friday, AF-1″

November 30th, 2008 by CK

This past week we experienced the greatness of Thanksgiving and of course “Black Friday.” We had the opportunity to gather our family and friends together and eat till we were so full that we needed to loosen the pants button and take a nap.

I had a great holiday where a good percentage of the family gathered and I was able to take many pictures of the family and also at my 2nd stop of the day at what I call “my extended family.” I stayed overnight on Thanksgiving and was looking forward to heading from Worcester to Cambridge, MA for the release of the “Black Friday, Air Force-1 by Nike. This was to be a release like no other because no one that was in line to buy it knew what it looked like. That held true for us as well. We were surprised that it was so nice in person.

The designer of the shoe, DJ Clark Kent was at Concepts in Boston to sign the boxes of the shoe that he designed. It was a sell out as expected. Also on hand was BREK ONE on the tables spinning the latest and greatest mixes for the patrons of the Black Friday Air Force 1′s. It was an all around success.

Here are some of the pictures of the event at Concepts.

This was a great day that was had by all.

Please keep a look out for Episode 70 that was recorded live on Black Friday night (Friday) for all the talk that WAS Black Friday.

See you on the air soon at www.talkshoe.com/tc/45577
