Life in the fast Lane Episode 89

GTO

When I was putting this mix together, I was thinking of the years in the past. Times when I was growing up, listening to music and what I would have loved to be driving in.

These are some of the songs what come to mind when I wish I had a classic car  to cruise in. I was lucky to have many friends with classic cars and I have so many memories of listening to the songs of the 60′s and 70′s over the roar of loud exhausts. Their is no going back now, so enjoy the mix and the ones that will be here in the weeks to come.

Remember you can send your request for future mixes to me at Twitter (LINK—> @CK67, or by emailing me at ck@check12check12.com

I have opened up the Studio Line at (339) 200-8050 for you to leave a voice mail for your favorite Classic Rock song and why…maybe we’ll play it out on the show? You never know!

I also would like to thank Lisa M. and JG at Facebook for their requests this week and also the following people at Twitter. I would recommend following all these great people. Again, thank you for the request and keep the songs coming and tell your friends to follow me @CK67 on Twitter.

    Hey – great stuff again.

You mentioned Hendrix and I am surprised you didn’t get any requests for Hendrix. So, here’s one:

    If 6 was 9

    Be well,

Wow That GTO looks like my old car. I sold it in 1972 just before I went into the Army. I wish i had held on to it. It was a sweet ride. Same fire engine red and tan inside. Well probably not the same one but I can dream…
